Often called pressure treated plywood, it is to be noted that this particular product is treated to a stricter standard than common pressure treated fence and deck materials. This material is designed to be used in preserved wood foundations and so the treatment process is considerably more rigorous. For outdoor use in general, or even for building foundations, this is the product to use for resistance to rot and decay. It is a cost effective alternative to masonry construction.
