Smartboard, aside from its obvious beneficial applications in moisture prone areas, also has applications applicable to your daily site uses. One such application is for roofing underlayment.
Upon examination of the attached performance charts, you will readily come to realize the superior performance qualities of Smartboard. Properly supported in accordance with local building regulations, this high performance medium is neither affected by heat, cold, moisture or insects. This product is a suitable long term substrate for any conventional roof covering. Unlike competitive products currently in use, Smartboard does not require special shelter or treatment on site and does not lose its integrity when exposed to moisture. Currently available in tapered edge that covers all four sides product, it is also available with an entirely smooth face for those not requiring a tapered edge product.
Smartboard is reinforced both faces with an integral fibreglass mesh and can be fastened using commonly accepted fastening systems. Smartboard has taken cement board to the next level.
